Verify a signed document

3 min read

MauriSign doesn't just store a PDF — it seals each completed document with a cryptographic signature and a tamper-evident audit trail. Anyone can confirm a document is genuine and unaltered.

This is what makes a MauriSign document trustworthy long after it was signed.

  1. 1

    Open the verification page

Every completed document has a public verification link. Open it and MauriSign re-computes the seal and checks the audit-trail hash chain in front of you.

A valid document shows a clear "verified" result with the signers and the time each signed.

    Download the evidence pack

From a completed document you can download an evidence pack — a ZIP containing the signed PDF plus a full audit trail (both machine-readable JSON and human-readable text).

Keep this for your records; it's everything you'd need to demonstrate the document's integrity.

Tip. Signed documents are retained for 10 years to meet record-keeping expectations.
