Envelopes & signing order
An envelope groups multiple documents that need to be signed together, and lets you control the order signers act in.
Use it when a deal involves several papers, or when you need to sign after your client rather than before.

- 1
Open Envelopes and start a new one
Go to Envelopes in the sidebar and create a new envelope. Give it a name that the recipients will recognise.

The Envelopes screen — bundle documents and control routing. - 2
Add documents and recipients
Add the documents that belong in this envelope and the people who need to sign. Each recipient gets their own secure, code-gated link.

Building an envelope: add documents and recipients. - 3
Choose the signing order
Pick how signing flows: sequential (one after another), parallel (everyone at once), or countersign-last so you sign after your client has.
MauriSign advances the envelope automatically — the next signer is only notified when it's their turn.
Tip. Countersign-last is the common choice for contracts you issue: the client signs first, then you finalise.
