Send a PDF for signature
This is the classic flow: you have a contract, quote or form as a PDF and you need one or more people to sign it in specific places.
MauriSign uploads the file, lets you drag fields exactly where signatures go, then emails each signer a secure magic link gated by a one-time code.

- 1
Start a new request and upload your PDF
From the dashboard choose New → Upload a PDF (or open Agreements and start a new signature request). Drag your PDF in or browse for it.
MauriSign can also convert a Word document to PDF for you if that's what you have.

The upload screen — drop a PDF (or DOCX) to begin. - 2
Place signature fields on the document
Your PDF opens in the placement canvas. Pick a field type — signature, initials, date or text — and click on the page to drop it where it belongs. Drag to reposition, and use the handles to resize.
If you have more than one signer, assign each field to the right person so everyone only fills in their own boxes.

Drag-to-place: drop signature, date and text fields onto the PDF. Tip. In a hurry? Use "Detect fields with AI" and MauriSign proposes field positions from the document text — you just review and adjust.
- 3
Add your signers
On the same screen, enter each signer's name and email in the panel beside the document. Add as many as you need, and assign each field to the right person so everyone only fills in their own boxes.
If signing order matters you can arrange it so one person signs before the next — you can even add yourself to countersign after your client.
- 4
Send it
Hit send. Each signer receives an email with a secure, single-use link to their copy. Before they can sign, they confirm their identity with a one-time code emailed to them.
Back in your dashboard the request moves to "Awaiting signature" so you can track who's signed and who hasn't. MauriSign can send automatic reminders.

After sending, the request shows as awaiting signature and tracks progress.
